cold beaches confuse me

whenever I think of the beach I'm think california or mexico! Warm and Sunny!!
And then I go to the ocean during the winter or in the Northwest and its like "wait a second... something is wrong... why arent I wearing a bikini?! D:"

The last two (and the couple downstairs from me) were loud, aggressive, argumentative, given to playing wall-shakingly loud music day and night, usually ended up having the front door and front window smashed up, and had creepy drunken friends who would knock on my door in the middle of the night looking for them.

If anyone here would be willing to give me about £100k, so I could buy my own house in a quiet, respectable area, I would really, really love you
