Oh lordy that is a lot of money

and in pounds too!!!

I don't think you'd even be able to buy a house for that much to be honest.

I am so gonna show you DT, when I'm not silly at all and you're the one who's silly then I'll be one who gets the last laugh!

That would be a good plan apart from one major hole...it would be rather silly of you to laugh at me for being silly, therefore you couldn't laugh at me for being silly and not be silly yourself. ;) :p

I'm always silly, I don't like being straight-faced for more than 5 minutes (it feels odd). :p

Are you nuts? Are you telling me 100,000 (hm, I dont know how to make the pound symbol with my keyboard...)
cant buy even a small house? Or part of duplex? Or a new apartment?!

now wait a second... maybe it cant! Houses are pretty expensive... and with the crash of the housing market... actually I dont know if that effected the UK at all

Well you might be able to buy a house for that much in a shithole like Bradford or Luton but you wouldn’t get anything for that amount in “quiet, respectable area†as OLP put it. You might be able to get a very, very, very small flat in London for that amount but it wouldn’t be quite at all. I am, of coruse, talking about here (England) not Wales so it might be diffrent there.

The housing crash did affect us in a way but the house prices haven't come down at all. I don't pay much attention to the Housing markets though; bonds, precious metals and things like that are what I do.

When I say 'quiet, respectable area' I basically mean a part of the town I live in that is not on a council estate, or in a generally rough area. Not something posh, just considerably nicer than where I am now.

Shame really, because the area I live in right now is really nice, picturesque, with an absolutely gorgeous mountain view :) But it's partly council housing, and when you move into council housing, if you're young they put you somewhere as far away as possible, because everyone knows that all young people are violent troublemakers and must be segregated from those who are respectable

Except, in my case, they are all aggressive chavs, so the lovely area is spoilt by thuggish drunks/drug addicts, littering the place with beer cans and broken glass, and littering the air with their loud music and loud fighting after 2am most nights of the week
