looking for bdsm fiction

I read erotica from time to time. A bunch of stuff, from vanilla to Ben & Jerry's 31 flavors.

I've even read 50 shades. EUGHK. Horrible representation of bdsm, really, just not bdsm at all.

What I'm looking for are some recommendations for novels where bdsm is accurately portrayed. I'd prefer there to be no MM stuff, or anything too extreme like scat play, water sports or blood play(unless done by a vampire's fangs or something)

I don't know of any BDSM fiction that I could recommend, but I have considered writing some of my own. Maybe if I get a chance to write some of my own, I could post some on this site as a short story or maybe get some published. There is a section of this site that has stories written by some of the users already posted. There might be something you like posted there.

I highly recommend Andre Santhomas, two of her titles are Driven and Pursuit. They are generally MDom/fsub relationships. Her Realm of Janos novels incorporate MANY BDSM factors as well, sexily and logically, but are fantasy, so it depends if you want normal/contemporary or if you'd be open to that.

Hi all,

I have been thinking exactly the same. All the books (and ok I have not looked very far only to the mainstream) seem to be with the female in the submissive role. I would like to read something that speaks to me ie with the female in the Domme role. Thing is I would also like to read something about a Domme that is just beginning as one as opposed to a very experienced one and so though - based on my own experience I might write something myself. I am in no way a writer but i wonder if I did write something (would probably obly be short) whether people would be kind enough to let me know what they think without being too harsh?

Am afriad I cant give any other recccomendations but am sure someone will be able to help

Hi MM,
I'd be happy to provide feedback, since I went through the same process a couple of years ago. PM me if you'd like me to give you feedback on anything.

Most of my published fiction is Femdom, but I enjoy writing Maledom and Lezdom fiction too.

IMHO my best "free" story is "Making Plans for Nigel". You can check it out at Orgasmdenial.com.

Here are links to the first few chapters. It's a complete story with about 27 chapters online. While Andrea, the Domme character, is experienced, I think there's a nice innocence about the way she introduced Nigel to Femdom that would be similar to what you may be looking for.

I don't normally write about inexperienced Dommes, but in "The Chastity Game" I do include historical flashbacks to when one of the two Domme characters was younger.

Aw thanks Stanley

I started reading making plans for Nigel a while ago - I might have to start from the beginning to refresh myself - I do remember that what I read I enjoyed but she is definitely more experienced lol. I might well send you something but as i say its more about getting my own thoughts down than perfecting it for an audience lol.

Msub stuff doesn't turn me on at all (neither does femdomme stuff really, but male subs are just... something), so I can't help you there, but I talk to a lot of writers, so when I get a recommendation, I'll share.

Hi MM,

>>>I do remember that what I read I enjoyed but she is definitely more experienced lol

One thing to remember is that even an experienced Dom/me should adapt their roleplay to a given relationship.

So what I tried to do with the Andrea character was to include her own uncertainties in having an affair with a younger man.

If you get to the chapter where they head to the South of France you'll also see Andrea feeling out of her depth.

Anyway - I think it's great that you want to get words down on paper to express your feelings. Personally I think it's an amazing way to explore a range of feelings - especially when you put yourself in the shoes of the different characters.

My own genre tends to be "real situations" because I think that fantasy scenarios are too easy (oh, but I'd love to take a vacation in that secret Eastern European kingdom in which men are subservient to uniformly beautiful women, and forced to stay in servitude all of their lives).

Cheers,
Stanley
