why do we not answer our messages

That is certainly an easy answer.
and may even occasionally be true.
but so is there might be no wish to communicate so directly with some one.
or an even simpler case of forgetfulness or missdirected messege or even unaware there was one , it was a good two days before I even realized that I had a PM once.

I never thought to look for any. So... "two unread." One was unsolicited commercial email (SPAM) and the other was apparently misdirected.

and sometimes our inboxes are full.... I usually respond to every message i get, but it fills up pretty quick...
