New here, too. I've never been slapped hard, and not sure I would enjoy that or be able to not verbally react. I've had my ass and face slapped to the point it stings, and I enjoy that during sex, but it didn't require a verbal response. Having said that, at times I would react by fake crying just because I think he wanted me to cry.
