I’ve strained my External Abdominal Oblique (link below). :( It feels like a knife stabbing into my rib every time I breathe out. I’m not normally around on the weekend because I’m off playing cricket but I thought it would be a good idea to sit this week out. :( It’s rather depressing to be honest. :(

You make that sound like a bad thing? :p :D

Breathing is overrated anyhow ;) No seriously, that hasn't gone away yet? Ouch.

Not really. It's starting to go though. It only hurts now if I'm doing something that makes me breath a lot. Last time I strained/pulled the same muscle it hurt on and off for 6 weeks so I've got off pretty lightly so far. :D

How do you keep on straining the same muscle again and again? Do you do the some sort of activity that is particularly strenuous for this muscle? Or did you strain it once, and never really got over it so it gets sore easily?

Correct. It's caused by me making the same movement 10,000's of times. Add other factors to that (the area it's in is always moving; diving about, so I sometimes land on top of the ball) and it means that sometimes I push it a little too far and it gets a little grumpy.

I'll be fine though, I'm giving it a rest and I'm talking to it daily to try and make it happy again. :p :D

We can add Seb to that list as well now. As it stands the list of injured members is:

OLP and her toe, Cuffy and his teeth, Seb and his IBS, me and my side...anyone else want in?

Okay Im not really sure I understod what "landing on top of the ball" means, but I get the genreal point I think :p
DT, talking always works... :)

I mean I do have a knee injury, but this is mostly self inflicted so I think I'm disqualified ;) (I should just stop running once it starts hurting, rather than go ahead and think, "let's see if this will also hurt in 2k's".)

It means exactly that my dear. :D Landing on a very, very hard ball about the size of a baseball. It doesn’t happen often but it does happen, it just hurts like fuck. Lol.

The knee just about scrapes into the list. The staple doesn’t though. ;) :p

Can I be the one in charge of this club because I have so many things wrong with me? :(

My toe hurt like hell again last night, but isn't so red today, and my feet aren't really cold any more, so I'm chuffed that I managed to warm them up :)

I have 7 pairs of socks boil washing right now too, and will carry on with the drawing of pus. When I see the doctor again on Tuesday, should I mention that I have been hacking into my toes to draw some of the infection out? Or should I keep quiet about that?
