The clerk claims he was distracted by the suspect (Billy Saint), prompting the intervention of the loss prevention officer (Tanner Shields). The suspect claims he’d never done anything like it before, while the theft was executed expertly and without initial detection. The suspect was brought in for questioning and to recover the lost funds. While in custody, the suspect was questioned and strip searched following standard protocols. An understanding was reached by the suspect and the loss prevention officer, and he was released without involvement of law . $400.00 value recovered for the store without incident.
