OLP: I haven't had the games stopped like that yet. I hope it never happens to me! *knock on wood* I would probably just wait until the pain is gone. We don't have much time juggling our 2month old. Ha ha
Well, I think it was the first time ours have stopped because of a non-BDSM related pain, but because of bad joints and stuff, I'm scared it might happen again, so I'm going to look through my stuffed toys before I see my master again, and pick one to throw if I need to stop because my knee/foot/shoulder/back is hurting too much
My left knee joint is bad and recently I have had leg cramps. Neither bother me too much. Tied standing isn't as bad since I can just put pressure on the cramp, but spread eagle on the bed hurts. I am gonna find a toy to throw too. Got lots of small stuffed animals.
We use the word caboose. I think it is important to have a safe word for the beginner, as it does give a comfort level to them, that there is a way out. We also both know, that if she tells me to stop for whatever reason, I will, but that doesn't mean to stop. And something else will come down the pike.
My new safeword is simply Daddy's name . . . I only every use his name when I'm very very grumpy to express that I am not being coy, I'm really not in the mood to play, but I've never hd to safeword out yet . . . in person, however, I'll have to be good about remembering it probably.
Depends on what we are doing. Normal play I usually don't say ours (Enema is safeword) when she is going at it with the belt its almost every time since she loves the belt. She will go until I say it. If I'm being punished I say it 4 to 5 times for a short break in the punishment. After I say it she knows that if I say I can't take anymore then its for real. We are real careful.
I always use RED because it's simple and is used at all of the dungeons. If you get cute and come up with a word that's hard to remember in the heat of the moment, then you've voided the whole idea of a safeword. When you've reached your limit, even *talking* is nearly impossible, so a short, simple, OBVIOUS safeword is best. No need to get creative with safety.
I like Martello's "Forza". safeworda are really hard becuase it's such a bummer word, it ruins the mood. Can you imagine saying "sausage"? That would kill the fantasy completely. Forza is a good word, it's got class and sounds good. I think I'll adopt it. Thank you Martello!
