Type of rope for bondage

Hi

After having abit of a shaky start with our play Sir has expressed an interest in using rope for bondage purposes & I am more than happy to accomodate him. My question really regards which type of rope is best to use? I have done alot of reading on the subject & although there is alot of info about rope bondage I haven't been able to find much info on rope types & there are just so many at the hardware shop. Is there a preferred type for bondage?

[Smallest]

5/8ths or larger (smaller is more likely to cut circulation or slip) diamondweave nylon, available at most hardware stores.

Yeah, I would basically agree with Smallest. Cotton rope is ok, but it's a little more harsh on the sub's skin, and absorbs sweat easily, so I prefer nylon.
