She hurries into a grief support group meeting, where Pierce Paris is pouring his heart out, devastated by the loss of his wife. When Aubrey enters, the moderator greets her kindly. Aubrey hesitates. Looking around, she shakes her head, saying that she doesn't think this group will be right for her. She just lost the love of her life and she doesn't see how talking about it will be any help. But with some delicate encouragement, the moderator convinces Aubrey to stay. She quietly takes her seat as the next person in the group begins speaking.
When the meeting winds down, Pierce sees Aubrey on the sidelines and goes over to introduce himself to her.
