IF, dreams tend to operate on symbolism. So dreaming about injuring your arm probably isn't really about your arm but rather things that arms or injuries symbolize to you. Assuming that the dream is unpleasant, it might for example be about the loss of something deeply important to you, or it might be about a feeling that you're incapable of doing something you need to do. If it's recurring, it's probably about some change or problem in your life right now that your subconscious is trying to make you look at. So ask yourself what's changed recently, or what's not working well for you, or what problem has come into your life recently. Think about them and see if any of them 'feel right' in terms of your dream. See if there are details in the dream that seem to fit or parallel the situation in your life.
Years ago, when I was having weight issues and overeating, I had a dream about a ghost of woman dressed in an antique sun dress. She was haunting the house I lived in and causing some sort of problem (although I no longer remember what). The dream stayed with me for days after I woke up, and eventually as I began to think about it, I realized the woman was my dead grandmother (a ghost in old clothes). The voice in my head that was encouraging me to overeat was her voice (the house she was haunting was me, a visual representation of my body). When I thought about it that way, the dream suddenly clicked and I realized that I had figured it out. At that point, the dream sort of faded and I stopped thinking about it. Hope this helps/
