Grr...I was trying to sleep and a stupid mobile was beeping constantly, but I couldn't work out what was causing it, to make it stop! Every time I was close to dropping off, it would beep again, and wake me back up!

OLP - I hope you enjoy your time with the family and get some sleep tonight.
I am cooking all day, Top has to work a 24hr shift starting at 6 am Christmas morning so we are having Christmas dinner tonight. If your in the area stop by for sweet potato pie, garlic butter snap beans and beef tenderloin with my special horseradish sauce - yum! Just dont tell anyone how I know you!

Just come back from visiting my mother in hospital; she seems okay today, nothing bad happened while I was there, but she's going to be spending Xmas Day in hospital. The earliest she can hope to be discharged is Saturday

Oh, and her two cats seem to be moulting, as I am now covered in cat hair and some of this appears to have gone up my nose too

I've not long come back from the hospital. She was really bad today

I actually witnessed her having some hallucinations, and my dad had to tell her several times that it was Friday/Xmas Day/not Sunday/that no shops are open today. She was really stressed and upset, picking fights with my dad, who threatened to walk out if she carried on acting up (he is so stressed by the whole thing that he can take very little right now) and, basically, the atmosphere was really tense and awkward; as awful as this sounds, I was relieved when it was time to leave

Dementia is very hard on those who have to deal with it in a loved one who has always been previously stable. I sympathize with the relief you feel at leaving time. You are not alone. Be strong. We care.

Just so everyone knows, I didnt forget about pics. My nipples got delayed until tomorrow...

We got too caught up with other stuff.... lol On the plus side, I went to go see Avatar yesterday. Phenomenal movie! I wont say anything more so I don't ruin it for anyone.
