oh OLP, I adore dressing up! Its all kinds of fun, plus there are so many scenes that can be played out when you're dressed up (my favorite thing <3 <3 <3)

I've never wieghed more than 48kg in my whole life! I weigh about 44kg right now (hehe! I only know it in kg because my roommate is a japanese exchange student so her scale is in kg and not lbs. VERY confusing at first lol)

Haha, I know; it's just weird for me because I've been a tomboy pretty much all my life, and although I do have some lovely dresses, skirts and shoes I don't often wear them, favouring sloppy, comfortable clothes instead...that gets a bit boring after a while though :(

I understand dressing up and being girly feeling weird.

When I was a little girl I was forced to wear dresses and go to church - alone. My mom never came with me or took me herself. Plus I was forced to wake up early, it used to take more than the jaws of life to get me out of bed in the morning. So I guess I came to resent dressing up and being girly...thus I stuck to my jeans:)
When I went to school I had to learn to dress 'professionaly' so my wardrobe changed a lot. I found out I liked looking pretty :) I think I have already said this once, but when I moved last, to please my mom and family I gave away everything except what I could fit into one suitcase. So goodbye looking pretty. Hello men's section.

I am just now starting to get back to wanting to look pretty. I now own two dresses and three skirts. :)

heh, you kind of sound like my hubby :)

Two weekends ago he went out full goth. Black pants and shirt, chains (on pants), knee-high leather Demonia boots (which I envy), collar and wrist cuffs, and black eyeliner...oh and full length black trench coat.:)

Last night, lol. it was a tight t-shirt, tight jeans ;) and cowboy boots to match his cowboy belt buckle...

I guess he has style, just he has a wide range of style. lol.

Ceilidh, thank you. It wasn't really about diet, although I did work on what i was eating. Mostly it was just committing to a regular workout of 40 minutes of cardio three times a week. Over the course of a year, the weight just faded away. Now I'm mostly doing weight training, although i need to get some cardio back in--still have 10 lbs to lose.

sebastion - how simple. eating right and excersize. Perhaps that is my problem.
1. I'm a very picky eater. I'm slowly changing my ways...I was 21 before I ever tried onion rings:) (btw, i love them) and just 6 months ago before I tried steamed broccoli with cheese (although I've loved broccoli and cheese soup since I was 17..and I love both:D ) I know I am weird.
2. I'm not big on excersize. I used to have a gym membership and would go run/work out about 11pm after i got off work to help me unwind. but it has been years since I have entered a gym. Honestly, I just need someone to stay on top of me and make me do it...

jey - which style do you like of hubby's? the goth? the cowboy? or both??
