Ceilidh: sorry to hear about your aunts. I hope they come out of it ok. Surgery is no fun at all.

Jey: It doesn't feel like I recovered fast, but I guess I did. I'm just glad its all over with. Now we gotta play catch up on the bills for the next two months. I wasn't lucky like my mom. She gets workmans comp for her back surgery and a check every week. Oh well. I'm just glad the pain is gone

Ceilidh, I hope your aunts get through their surgeries well. Perhaps a compromise would be to go either before she goes under (so you can sit with her while she's awake) or to go a little before she's scheduled to come out, so you can be there for her (or do both, depending on how much hassle that would be). There isn't a purpose to just sitting and waiting with anxiety, but being there when she's awake may mean a lot to her.

you are right Seb. I think tomorrow I'm going to spend as much time as I can in town visiting with my family. I haven't seen my grandma in a while either. And I'll see if I can get a baby sitter and go Wed morning and see her, my aunt, before hand and afterwards. I think I might stick around during her sugery too, but I'll play the gopher role. Go get lunch, coffee, whatever my cousin (who is 4 months preg, and my aunts eldest daughter) and family might need. I could also go shopping....I could spend hours in a used bookstore

But for some reason I just can't shake this bad feeling I have. Like something bad is going to happen. I don't know if it has anything to do with my aunt, or what it is. I wish I knew.

No idea; I spoke to Sparrow who contacted Dorei, the admin, but I don't think he heard anything back...a server error, perhaps

But it's up again now, that's all that matters :rotfl:
