Here's another fun video from Bind's jail in Hampton Iowa. In this video, our friends Bind, Tony Orlando and Fear Slave act out the scene of a small-town sheriff and his reign over his prisoners. As you might guess, Tony Orlando gets under the sheriff’s skin, so the sheriff shows him who's boss and locks him in a small space between two metal doors.
We all had a good time shooting this video. It's fun to use the severity of this jail facility for fun and games. In my opinion, this is an example of adult play at its finest, although I fantasized about experiencing jail cells like this since I was 10 years old. I've been thinking a lot about this recently. When I was a kid it would have been unacceptable to share my excitement about bondage, jail cells, and rubber diving suits with my friends and parents. Now, at age 61, I am just discovering that these interests are quite common and normal. It took me a long time to figure this out, and I’m working through my embarrassment in sharing these interests with others. I salute Bind who had the inspiration and drive to buy this old jail and renovate it so people like us can play there and fulfill our fantasies.
