The Monk Rasputin, living as a recluse in Siberia, is called upon by the Russian nobility to use their healing powers to heal the dying heir of the Russian Empire. He is accompanied by Countess Golovina, who more than once has the opportunity to explore another of Rasputin's properties: his ability to satisfy women. In St. Petersburg, Rasputin manages to cure the tsarevich, but he falls out of favor with the empress, and at the same time makes several powerful enemies who are now planning an attempt on his life .
