Watches with a salesperson. When the employee turned away, the suspect was captured on camera placing a watch in his pants. The salesperson alerted the loss prevention officer on duty, who immediately intervened. The suspect denied any wrongdoing and was brought into the back room for further questioning. While in custody, the young man was very quiet but insistent on his innocence. Upon frisking, a large, hard object was detected near suspect’s groin. Following up with a strip search, the loss prevention officer was able to recover the watch in question from the suspect’s underwear.
