A comedy about the mixed up reservations of two groups name L.H.A.: the Laties Horticulture Associate and the League of Homosexual Activists.
The manager of a resort hotel in the Catskill Mountains confusing two reservations for "L.H.A." Instead of the "Ladies Horticultural Association," he actually has made a reservation for the "League of Homosexual Activists." The ladies luckily never appear, but we are not spared swishy queens parading into the hotel. The hotel staff goes berserk. The suave desk clerk rouges his lips and flirts with the L.H.A. guests, the dumpy and womanly manager becomes hysterical and faints, and the bumbling house detective snoops around to identify the L.H.A.
As the gray-wigged house dick moves around the hotel, we see the activists making out in their rooms (via the keyhole), in the dining room, and at the foot of the stairs in the lobby. The house dick, played by Harvey P. Mortorforker, takes pictures and shows the manager, who goes crazy. But in the end, money talks. When the desk clerk shows the manager how much money was made, the manager then looks forward to future visits by the L.H.A.
Besides the queens, there are masculine, hairy hunks and diverse New York ethnic types including a black. The comedy and sexual roles are not played by the same men.
