mini skirts with bondage straps

Hi, my girlfriend recentley bought a skirt similar to this:

How would she use the straps that are attached? She won't be wearing this skirt for me so she has asked for advice on how to use them.

Are they just decorative or is there a certain way to use them, ie, are they to restrain arms / legs etc?

As a goth I have purchased many items of clothing with "bondage" straps. I always remove them. The best thing you can use them is tethers. With cuffs you can use the tether to attach the them to other household items. However they will be easy to escape.

yer they are detachable, so basically just a removable tether that's handily attached to your skirt? fair enough, thanks

I had thought they were meant to be used whilst attached, I guess not.
