How do you meet BDSM people

Hi everyone I'm new in this and know a little in the BDSM world but i'm playing alone and want to know how I can find someone to play with me, does club, event or something like this exist to meet people if yes can you help me, i'm near montreal and i'm not good to find thing like this.

Google about BDSM clubs in your area (there should definitely be some in Montreal, it's a big enough place).

Also, I throw around 'Join Fetlife' quite a bit, but you should probably try it. Even if you're not into social networking (it's like a fetish facebook), it has events and groups listed by location, meaning you could probably find a club or the name of whoever puts on the local shows and thus probably runs the local munch.

I'm in BC, so I can't really help you further with specifics.
