Hiding our lifestyle from a child

My sub recently brought up this concern to me, and I'm not entirely sure how to go about it since I've never had a submissive with children, although I admit I should have thought about it before. How would we go about hiding our lifestyle from her daughter? If she's wearing her collar then obviously questions might be asked. We will definitely be hiding our toys, locking the door to our play room, waiting until her daughter is away or in bed before any punishments, and hiding any marks from play on her body to the best of our ability, but what about the slightly more obvious aspects of the relationship such as the collar? Do we just explain that it's just a piece of clothing that she never takes off because she likes it? Or would having several collars work better to hide it?

Could you find a collar that's more like a choker? Something that looks a bit more jewelry-like?

Yeah that's one of the plans, so you think that's all it'll take besides the other things I mentioned?

Well, I don't have kids, so I'm not the best one to ask. Kids are notorious for getting into things, so make sure your toys are literally locked up.
