My addictions are the stuff of legend. When I started Welbutrin to kick my three packs a day smoking habit, nine Philip Morris executives threw themselves into the Hudson. I’m still smoking, but thanks to the Welbutrin I got to see some great new colors. And when I quit coke, the ensuing panic lead to price wars on various city streets; dealers tried to get old Church Ladies hooked just to stay financially afloat. Luckily one addiction I’m happy to keep feeding is my Club Inferno habit, where the only twelve steps I have to take are to the bathroom to pick up a clean hand towel.
