There are a lot of tough jobs in the Marine Corps, but pretty much the toughest jobs involve . They are the boots on the ground who put it all on the line. Lance Corporal Hector was an mortarman. His job was to work with small ground units to put mortar rounds on the enemy positions. Hector ultimately did not have to go into combat, but he and his unit sat off shore, waiting for the call, and ready to take the fight to the enemy if needed.
