I often spend a fair bit of my day running between units being the producer, and doing the lighting, which is the bit I find it hardest to let go of. I'm fine with having other people do the tying up and taking the photos, but I guess maybe because it is my full-time job and there is a bit more technically to get right with exposure and lighting ratios, I do like to make sure that the test shots are looking atmospheric and well-exposed before letting the team run with it.
