300 2: Rise of an Empire

I just saw 300 2. Horrid film on virtually all levels. I was disappointed that it repeats the traditional idea that women who like rough sex have been victims of sexual violence. Also, Themistocles pointedly says that he doesn't want to live at the end of her chain, subtly suggesting that she's into BDSM.

Yeah, she does come off nicely in the film. But I really wish they hadn't gone down the cliched "she was raped so now she wants rough sex" road.
