Some genuine frustration here. Melissa cuffed herself up in a way that looked really uncomfortable--kind of puzzling how she did it, really. Once she understood that she wasn't getting unlocked unless she could wiggle off her top leotard, she got really annoyed, and tried to hide how annoyed she was, and did a really bad job of it (both the wiggling and the hiding her irritation). It was this unsaid thing that it was her own fault.
