kidnapping

Sparrow clearly knows more about the legalities of this than I do, but I think the kidnapper might still be vulnerable to a charge of disturbing the peace. As I understand it, the requirements for this charge are that the accused 1) be outside in a public space and 2) do something that an eyewitness finds alarming. 2 is an extremely easy standard for the police to meet. The 'something' doesn't actually have to be illegal, it only has to create alarm in someone watching. This was the charge that Henry Louis Gates was arrested on, and the officer asked him to step out of his own house specifically so that the officer could then use the shouting Gates was doing in front of the crowd of onlookers as the 'something' that was creating alarm.

So my point is, orchestrate it somewhere people will not see and call the police.

Or do what my mentor in uniform play did. Get a couple of guys dressed in cop uniforms, go to the victim's house and 'arrest' him.

I like the pose as a cop thing, but that would be EXTREMELY bad if caught lol. Yeah police are like 99.9% assholes so they'll find and do just about anything to book someone.

very true Sabastian, which is why i suggested to keep it as simple as possible. the more simple it is the less chance of being noticed.
